Over 100 candidates from Alba have registered for the school director positions, with the first test scheduled for October 13, 2026. The Ministry of Education is conducting a national competition for over 7,800 vacant director roles in public pre-university education. In Alba, 137 positions are available, including 101 directors and 36 deputy directors. The evaluation process includes multiple stages, starting with a competency test, followed by written exams and interviews. Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 6 to pass the competency test, which consists of a standardized test with 20 items. Successful candidates will begin their terms in 2027.
