Alba Iulia is reorganizing its construction and urbanism approval process by establishing two new committees: the Local Integrated Approval Commission (CLAI) and the Unique Agreement Commission (CAU). These changes aim to streamline the approval process, allowing for coordinated management of necessary permits through the municipality. The new system will enable electronic submission of documents and a more efficient review process, with a maximum of 60 days for document analysis and 15 days for issuing approvals once conditions are met. Certain environmental and cultural permits will remain independent of the new agreement. The CLAI will focus on urban planning documentation, while the CAU will coordinate approvals from various institutions.
