Comisia Europeană plătește Ucrainei 1,24 miliarde de euro pentru drone și rachete

The European Commission disbursed €1.24 billion to support Ukraine's defense, part of a €90 billion aid package. This funding focuses on drones, interceptors, and munitions produced by Ukrainian entities. Ursula von der Leyen emphasized the importance of this support in countering Russian aggression and enhancing Ukraine's defense capabilities. The aid package includes €60 billion for defense and €30 billion for budgetary assistance from 2026 to 2027, with additional payments planned. Since 2022, the EU has provided a total of €228.7 billion in support to Ukraine, with significant funds still available for 2026. The defense component aims to modernize Ukraine's defense industry and integrate it into the European defense framework.
