The situation is alarming, with innocent crews targeted and lives lost. A Bulgarian government confirmation reported a cargo ship sinking and another damaged by drone attacks. Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev labeled the attacks as unacceptable and a violation of international law. The sunken vessel, Alfa Watan, was Turkish-owned, while the other, Able, was also Turkish-operated. Reports indicate casualties from a separate drone attack on a Marshall Islands-flagged ship in the Black Sea.
