Călin Georgescu taken out of the Central Detention Center on Tuesday for new hearings

Călin Georgescu, a former presidential candidate, was taken to DIICOT for questioning regarding a fraud case involving over 1 million euros. Investigators are examining electronic devices seized from his home. His wife, Cristela Georgescu, also arrived at DIICOT as a witness and received support from her husband's followers. The investigation continues with additional hearings, including that of Georgescu's father-in-law, Vasile Moldoveanu. Călin Georgescu is under preventive arrest for 30 days following a court decision.
