Pudra verde care seamănă perfect cu matcha, dar nu conține cofeină. Cum este făcută
A Polish farm has developed Herbatcha, a caffeine-free green powder made from local plants, designed to be prepared like matcha. This product emerges amid rising demand for matcha and pressure on Japanese green tea supply. Herbatcha consists of nettle leaves, strawberry leaves, green oats, and rhodiola root, all cultivated on the farm. Unlike matcha, which contains caffeine, Herbatcha is entirely plant-based and can be mixed with hot water or milk. The name is a play on the Polish word for tea, 'herbata', and it is marketed as 'matcha from Podlasia'. The farm is noted as the only commercial grower of rhodiola in Poland, which takes about seven years to harvest. The idea for Herbatcha comes as international matcha demand rises, with Japan's green tea exports reaching record levels in 2025, while high temperatures and interest have increased tea prices.
