Un obicei de somn aparent banal ar putea influența cât timp rămânem în câmpul muncii
A Finnish study indicates that evening chronotypes may face a higher risk of early disability retirement due to health issues. The research followed 5,679 adults over 12 years, revealing that night owls had a 70% greater likelihood of receiving disability pensions compared to morning people. This trend persisted across genders and remained significant after accounting for socioeconomic factors. The study highlights the genetic and environmental influences on chronotype preferences, with about 10% of men and 12% of women identified as evening types. Despite the findings, most evening chronotypes did not end up on disability pensions.
