Fritz respinge varianta unui premier independent: „Este dependent de o majoritate în Parlament”. USR exclude un consens cu PSD
Dominic Fritz, the USR president, stated that an independent prime minister is not feasible without a parliamentary majority. He emphasized that any government leader relies on a coherent political majority. Fritz dismissed the idea of supporting an independent prime minister, especially in a potential agreement with PSD, PNL, and UDMR, citing past failed negotiations with PSD. He believes that PSD has moved away from previously agreed reforms and is not a viable partner for consensus. Fritz also expressed hope that PNL will maintain its recent stance and highlighted the need for a reformist political bloc as an alternative to PSD and AUR.
