Police in Brașov conducted a traffic safety operation, focusing on speed limit violations and other traffic rules. The initiative involved 54 officers using 17 speed measurement devices across the county. Over 250 fines were issued, totaling around 141,000 lei, with nearly 200 for speeding. Eight driving licenses were suspended, half for exceeding speed limits by over 50 km/h. In a separate operation on DN 1, 20 officers issued 140 fines, totaling about 80,000 lei, with 124 for speeding. Six licenses and three registration certificates were also suspended.
