Zenobia Duduianu, aged 60, died in Târgșor Prison while serving a six-year sentence for rape and deprivation of liberty. She reportedly suffered a heart attack after her health deteriorated. Despite medical intervention, she could not be saved. The National Administration of Penitentiaries is investigating the circumstances of her death. Zenobia was not the only family member to die in prison, as her relatives Laurențiu and Nicolae Duduianu also passed away while incarcerated. The Duduianu clan was involved in a case from 2019 concerning the abduction of a 17-year-old girl.
