The Blaj Local Council approved a budget rectification and several key projects, including the construction of an electric bus depot and street repairs. Mayor Gheorghe Valentin Rotar outlined these initiatives during the meeting on September 30. The electric bus depot, valued at approximately 35 million lei, will begin construction soon, with plans for electric public transport to start in spring 2027. Additional funding from a 30 million lei loan will support various modernization projects, including street upgrades and energy efficiency improvements. Other local projects include the modernization of the Chereteu lake and the Avram Iancu park stadium.
