The Spanish region of La Rioja is offering subsidies up to €40,000 for individuals under 45 who buy, build, or renovate homes in small towns. This initiative aims to combat population decline in rural areas, which has led to challenges for local services and businesses. The Revive Plan targets young adults willing to relocate to these areas, providing financial support based on the size of the town. Eligible applicants include EU citizens and those with valid residency permits. The program requires the home to be the primary residence for at least five years. Applications can be submitted until June 1, 2027.
