This trend reflects a growing interest in flexible work arrangements as inflation impacts purchasing power. Approximately 27,000 part-time positions are available, averaging 49 applications per job. Nearly 20% of applications are for remote roles, highlighting a shift towards more adaptable work environments. Candidates are primarily motivated by the need for additional income or career exploration without leaving their main jobs. Retail, tourism, and services dominate the part-time job market, appealing to both entry-level and experienced workers.
