This project, funded by European grants, will allow public access to thousands of photographs and texts dating back to 1889. Additionally, a platform will be developed to verify the authenticity of images using artificial intelligence, combating misinformation. Agerpres aims to coordinate this initiative, marking its first leadership role in a European project. The funding of 7.5 million lei will facilitate the online publication of 100,000 photographs and texts, preserving historical evidence for future generations.
