UE deblochează o tranșă de 2,9 miliarde de euro pentru Ucraina

Ukraine has received its eighth tranche of financial support from the EU, amounting to nearly €2.9 billion, aimed at budget priorities and modernization. This payment includes €800 million from the new Ukraine Support Loan, which provides loans for budget and defense needs. The EU Council approved the funds after Ukraine met ten out of the required conditions for financing, focusing on reforms in various sectors. Since the launch of the Ukraine Facility, total funding has exceeded €32 billion, with more support planned for 2024-2027. Norway has also contributed €92 million in non-repayable aid, marking its first support outside the EU.
