Inflaţia în zona euro, la cel mai ridicat nivel din ultimii trei ani

In September, inflation in the eurozone reached its highest level in three years, driven by rising energy prices, prompting expectations of further interest rate hikes by the European Central Bank. Eurostat's preliminary estimate indicated inflation rose to 3.8%, influenced mainly by an 18.8% annual increase in energy prices. Core inflation also increased slightly, reflecting higher service costs. Analysts anticipate additional rate increases by the ECB by mid-2027.
