BERD finanțează cel mai mare parc „verde” din UE, situat în România
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing a €21.1 million senior secured loan as part of a €561 million financing package for the Dama Solar project in Romania, which will have a capacity of 1.3 GW. This project, developed by Rezolv Energy, will be the largest onshore renewable energy project in the EU and is expected to generate around 1,800 GWh of renewable electricity annually. The initiative aims to enhance Romania's energy independence and includes a skills development program to train at least 300 local community members, with a focus on increasing women's participation in the energy sector. EBRD has invested over €12.9 billion in Romania since 1991, primarily in the private sector.
