A new construction site has opened on Iuliu Maniu, focusing on modernizing a key road section in western Bucharest. The project spans 55,172 square meters and includes significant upgrades for pedestrians and cyclists, such as expanded sidewalks and dedicated bike lanes. The total investment is over 45 million lei, with a portion funded by the EU. Enhancements will also include public transport facilities, green spaces, and urban furniture. Accessibility improvements are planned, including ramps and Braille signage. The first phase will start between Lujerului and Moinești, progressing towards Valea Cascadelor.
