The Romanian Ministry of Transport has announced a funding program called "e-Mobility RO" with a budget of €49.5 million for electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Applications can be submitted from September 28, 2026, to November 27, 2026, via the MySMIS 2021 platform. The program aims to expand charging stations on highways and national roads managed by CNAIR. The evaluation process will follow the application period, with results expected by March 29, 2027, and contract signing scheduled for late May 2027.
