Cât timp ar trebui să dormi în weekend. Numărul de ore ce reduce riscul de hipertensiune arterială
Recent research suggests that sleeping more on weekends can positively impact heart health and reduce hypertension risk. A study presented at the European Society of Cardiology found that individuals who increased their weekend sleep had a lower likelihood of developing high blood pressure compared to those with a consistent but inadequate sleep schedule. The study analyzed health data from nearly 41,000 Korean adults and indicated that an additional 1.44 hours of sleep on non-working days was associated with a 9% lower hypertension risk. However, experts caution against intentionally sacrificing sleep during the week for weekend recovery, emphasizing the importance of consistent sleep throughout the week.
