Gender disparities persist, with women earning 4.8% less than men on average. Regionally, Bucharest had the highest net salary at 7,150 lei, while Botoșani reported the lowest at 4,059 lei. The average monthly labor cost rose by 8.1% to 9,126 lei, with significant increases in various sectors. The total number of employees in Romania reached approximately 5.5 million, with a slight increase from the previous year.
