The Ministry of Development has clarified rules regarding construction on land following the new Urbanism Code. The new definition of the Land Occupation Percentage (POT) does not apply to urban planning documents approved before the law's enactment. Existing urban plans retain their original calculation rules. The Ministry acknowledged that confusion arose from a material error in the new regulations. Applications submitted before the new code's effective date will be processed under previous laws. Additionally, stricter rules for unauthorized constructions have been introduced, requiring compliance with urban regulations for legalization. The Ministry plans to issue further clarifications as needed.
