Dragoș Ovidiu Argeșanu, known as a 'spiritual visionary', was detained following police raids in Bucharest and Ilfov, facing multiple sexual abuse allegations from women during therapy sessions. The investigation began in May 2026 after reports of abusive behavior surfaced. Argeșanu is accused by seven women of exploiting his authority to engage in non-consensual sexual acts, claiming they were part of therapeutic practices. Allegations include incidents from 2020 to 2025, with one case involving rape in a hotel in Ialomița. Following the raids, he was taken for questioning and is currently held for 24 hours pending legal proceedings. The police emphasize their commitment to addressing sexual offenses and encourage anyone with relevant information to come forward.
