Metrorex announced the closure of access C at Gara de Nord 1 metro station from September 22 to October 2, 2026, for repair works. During this period, pedestrians will be redirected to other access points. The repairs aim to enhance safety and operational conditions for travelers. Additionally, the pedestrian passages at Republica station have recently reopened after extensive renovations, and a new underground passage is under construction to connect Republica station with surrounding areas.
