Ministerul Agriculturii continuă demersurile diplomatice pentru reluarea exporturilor de ovine şi caprine

The European Commission's approval of Romania's Action Plan for resuming sheep and goat exports marks a significant step towards restoring international trade in this sector. Minister Tanczos Barna emphasized ongoing diplomatic efforts to facilitate further decisions necessary for export resumption. The Action Plan, submitted on September 11, includes measures for vaccination against animal diseases and aims to protect existing exports of meat and dairy products. Additionally, ANSVSA has secured six international export markets under vaccination conditions, with more agreements in negotiation. Farmers have expressed concerns over disease management and export restrictions, leading to protests.
