Noua tactică a Rusiei ca să facă economie de rachete Iskander şi Zircon: bombardează Ucraina cu rachete de antrenament
Russia has increasingly used converted training missiles in its recent attacks on Ukraine, leading to record levels of airstrikes. Ukraine is particularly vulnerable due to a significant depletion of its American-made Patriot interceptors. The RM48U missiles, which are less precise than Iskander missiles, accounted for over half of the 228 ballistic and hypersonic missiles launched at Ukraine in July and early August. This marks the first widespread use of these missiles, allowing Russia to sustain daily bombardments without exhausting its Iskander and Zircon stocks. Additionally, Russia has intensified attacks on Ukrainian passenger trains, damaging over 500 locomotives since the invasion began in February 2022.
