Ce include noul regulament UE pentru protecția minorilor în mediul digital: Fără social media până la 13 ani, printre altele - StartupCafe

The European Commission has adopted the KIDS Act to enhance the protection of children online, imposing age restrictions and parental controls. Children under 13 will be banned from social media, while those aged 13 to 15 can only access platforms through parental accounts. The act also prohibits addictive features and mandates privacy settings for minors. Age verification tools will be required for new accounts, and existing users' ages must be estimated. The legislation aims to ensure children's safety in the digital environment and is currently under review by the European Parliament and Council.
