Romanian sheep and goat farmers can receive up to €50,000 in EU funds for farm investments aimed at disease prevention. The funding covers 90% of eligible expenses, with a minimum requirement of 150 animals. A total budget of €9 million is proposed for the upcoming session, which is part of the PAC Strategic Plan 2023-2027 and has received European Commission approval. The funds can be used for biosecurity investments, including equipment for decontamination and disease prevention measures. The application process will open once the guidelines are finalized and public consultation is complete.
