Crescătorii de oi și capre pot lua până la 50.000 de euro prin AFIR pentru investiții în biosecuritate
Sheep and goat farmers can access up to €50,000 in EU funds for investments aimed at preventing disease spread in farms. The funding is part of the DR-21 initiative, with a public consultation launched by AFIR. Support is available for registered farms with at least 150 animals, covering 90% of eligible project costs. A budget of €9 million is proposed for the upcoming session, with project submissions accepted until the funding cap is reached. The initiative aims to enhance biosecurity measures and protect livestock from diseases like peste des petits ruminants and sheep and goat pox. Eligible expenses include decontamination equipment and protective fencing.
