The Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, announced the reallocation of over 2 billion lei for health services to prevent funding blockages in October. This amount, moved from the fourth to the third quarter, will cover urgent medical services and medications already provided to patients. Nazare emphasized that while this measure addresses immediate financial pressure, it does not solve the structural issues within the healthcare system. He called for better budget predictability and control over expenses, highlighting the need for reforms to ensure sustainable funding in the future.
