Dunărea scade dramatic: debitul este la mai puțin de jumătate din media lunii septembrie. Alertă și pe râurile interioare

In mid-September, the Danube's flow is less than half of the historical average, prompting water restrictions in several areas. The lack of rainfall exacerbates the drought, with current flow at Baziaş recorded at 1,500 cubic meters per second, significantly below the average of 3,800. Other rivers are also experiencing low flows, leading to ongoing monitoring and careful management of water resources. Restrictions have been implemented on the Jiu River and other sectors, affecting local water supply in Gorj and Dolj. Nationally, large reservoirs are at 65.99% capacity, highlighting the urgency of the situation as officials stress the importance of conserving water resources.
