Dacia has launched the "Dacia Photovoltaic Power Plant" project, aiming to enhance energy independence and reduce environmental impact. The plant will have an installed capacity of 8.5 MW, producing around 9,094 MWh of renewable energy annually, covering about 8% of the plant's needs. Funded by the Modernization Fund, the project totals 58.3 million lei, with nearly 10 million lei in non-repayable financing. The plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2026. This initiative aligns with Dacia's commitment to sustainable production and reducing carbon footprint, while also addressing rising energy costs affecting competitiveness.
