Elveția publică un dosar secret de 200 de pagini despre criminalul de război nazist Mengele, supranumit „Îngerul Morții”
The Swiss Federal Intelligence Service released a 200-page file on Nazi war criminal Josef Mengele, known for his horrific medical experiments at Auschwitz. Mengele, an SS captain, conducted brutal experiments on prisoners, including children, during World War II. After the war, he escaped to Latin America using a false identity and was pursued internationally for his crimes. The newly published documents suggest he may have returned to Switzerland after fleeing Germany. Historians have long sought access to these files to determine if Mengele was in Switzerland while being hunted. The release followed a successful legal challenge against the sealing of the documents, although some sections were redacted for privacy reasons.
