Primăria Generală a montat prima trecere de pietoni inteligentă. Cum ne scapă ea de accidente • Newsweek România
Bucharest has launched its first smart pedestrian crossing equipped with motion sensors and dynamic lighting to enhance safety. The system activates lights only when pedestrians intend to cross, improving visibility and alerting drivers. This innovative approach aims to reduce accidents by addressing the common issue of drivers ignoring constant flashing lights. The crossing features a three-layer detection system, dynamic visual signaling, and is designed to assist visually impaired individuals with acoustic signals and tactile markings. This pilot project will help assess the technology's effectiveness in urban traffic.
