Family doctors are negotiating with CNAS for changes in consultation payment rules, seeking to calculate consultations over six months instead of three. They argue this would prevent loss of reimbursed services during high patient volume periods. Some proposals were accepted by CNAS, while others were rejected. Discussions included adding HDL cholesterol tests to preventive care reimbursements and allowing payment for substitute doctors beyond the average consultations. The doctors also requested a performance payment model based on eligible patients and a return to an 11-month regularization period. Other proposals included teleconsultation reimbursements and adjustments to HPV testing obligations.
