Polonezul Radosław Frątczak câștigă prima etapă a Turului României 2026 la ciclism

Polish cyclist Radosław Frątczak won the first stage of the 2026 Tour of Romania, held in Moldova, completing the 162 km route in 3 hours, 35 minutes, and 42 seconds. He achieved an average speed of 45.063 km/h, winning in a sprint finish. Belgian Liam Punnewaert and Italian Alessio Menghini followed him. Romanian champion Gerhard-Cristin Moldansky finished eighth. The stage featured 1,406 meters of elevation and included two category 3 climbs. This edition marked the first time a stage was held outside Romania. Frątczak now leads the general classification and has earned seven points in the points ranking. The tour continues with the second stage from Iași to Piatra-Neamț.
