Joheirry Mola from the Dominican Republic was crowned Miss World 2026 in Nha Trang, Vietnam, marking the country's second win in the competition's history. The event celebrated its 75th anniversary and featured contestants from 111 countries. Mola, a 24-year-old educator and journalist, aims to improve access to English education for vulnerable communities through her initiative, Voices of Tomorrow. The final saw Mola receive the crown from the previous titleholder, with Spain's Elisabeth Reynés and Malaysia's Taanusiya Chetty finishing as runners-up. Romania did not qualify for the quarter-finals.
