The German Interior Minister confirmed Russia's responsibility for the hybrid attack on August 4, involving an explosive-laden drone near a Ukrainian aircraft. Other European countries, like France and Poland, also summoned Russian diplomats to express solidarity with Berlin. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen warned that such tactics may become the new normal, while EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas described the incident as state-sponsored terrorism.
