A 74-year-old man was injured after a car hit a bear on DN13A in Sângeorgiu de Pădure. The incident occurred on September 2, around 11:10 PM, when the bear appeared suddenly on the road. The man exited the vehicle to assess the situation and was subsequently attacked by the bear, suffering serious injuries to his leg. Another passenger intervened by striking the bear with a jack, leading to the bear's death. Medical teams transported the injured man to the hospital for treatment. Police are investigating the circumstances of the incident and advise against exiting vehicles when encountering wildlife on the road.
