The waste deposit at Vidra and the wastewater treatment station at Glina are likely sources of unpleasant odors reported by Bucharest residents, according to the Environmental Guard's investigation. Following numerous complaints, 55 businesses were checked, resulting in fines totaling 795,000 lei and the suspension of three operations for legal violations. Additionally, 22 compliance measures were identified for the Vidra deposit and Glina station, which will be monitored. The National Environmental Guard will also conduct objective measurements of the Vidra waste deposit's capacity, which residents have been awaiting.
