The Alba County Council has revised the 2026 budget, allocating significant funds to health, social assistance, and transportation. The total budget is set at 1.16 billion lei, with health receiving 688.17 million lei, accounting for nearly 60% of the total. Social assistance follows with 177.82 million lei, primarily managed by the General Directorate for Social Assistance and Child Protection. Transportation is allocated 147.34 million lei, with a focus on development projects. Cultural expenses are also notable, totaling 60.77 million lei, covering various institutions. Overall, health, social assistance, and transportation make up about 87.3% of the budget.
