The Bucharest City Hall is auctioning a contract worth nearly 64 million lei for the renovation of the Dâmbovița riverbanks and the reconstruction of the Calicilor Bridge. The project includes creating a promenade and installing metal scaffolding for terraces. The work is expected to take 18 months, with bids due by October 1. The Calicilor Bridge will connect Şelari and Sfinții Apostoli streets, featuring a metal frame and oak decking. Additionally, the riverbanks will be enhanced with pedestrian platforms, a viewing platform, and improved urban furniture, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities.
