Over 11 million lei were allocated by the Alba Water Management System in the first half of the year for flood prevention and maintenance works. The funds were used for infrastructure upkeep, including the removal of 66,000 cubic meters of sediment from riverbeds. All 127 local flood defense plans were approved, and ten major investment projects for flood protection are currently underway. Inspections were conducted to ensure compliance with water management regulations.
