Noi tronsoane modernizate se deschid pe calea ferată Brașov - Sighișoara. Trenurile de călători vor putea circula cu până la 160 km/h
Newly rehabilitated railway sections on the Brașov - Sighișoara route are now open for traffic, allowing speeds up to 160 km/h for passenger trains. The modernization is part of a larger project to enhance the Brașov - Simeria railway, included in the European Rhine-Danube Corridor. Key improvements include new drainage systems, bridge renovations, and a new platform at Saschiz. The project aims to facilitate the phased transfer of train operations to the upgraded infrastructure while continuing work on other sections.
