Energia solară nu mai depinde de subvenții. Ce îi convinge pe români să investească acum

The solar energy market in Romania is evolving, with homeowners increasingly investing in photovoltaic systems independent of state subsidies. The end of the energy price cap and the drop in equipment costs have shifted the investment landscape. Many are opting for solar solutions to mitigate rising electricity bills, especially given the paradox of exporting cheap electricity during the day and importing it at higher prices in the evening. The European directive on energy performance in buildings is also pushing for more solar installations in new constructions. As of early 2026, Romania had over 300,000 active prosumers, indicating a growing demand for solar energy. The cost of a 5 kW system ranges from 25,000 to 35,000 RON, with a potential payback period of a few years, depending on various factors. Experts emphasize the importance of choosing authorized installers and accurately sizing systems based on actual consumption.
