The Competition Council noted that diesel is currently cheaper by 50-53 bani compared to pre-reduction levels. International diesel prices remain high, influenced by refining costs and supply issues. The price trends in Romania align with European markets, with diesel prices being slightly below the EU average. The Council is analyzing compliance with price caps among fuel operators.
