Rompetrol plans to build a 4.8 MW solar power plant in Ploiești, expected to produce over 6,200 MWh annually by 2028. The project, costing nearly 27 million lei, will be partially funded by the Modernization Fund. It aims to significantly reduce CO₂ emissions and enhance energy efficiency at the Vega refinery.
