Bulgaria's Kozlodui Nuclear Power Plant has reduced its output from 100% to 91.4% due to low Danube water levels, affecting power generation by 120 MW. Officials state this reduction does not impact energy exports or system integrity. The decision aims to prevent strain on cooling pumps, and the reactor operates safely at reduced power. Energy Minister Iva Petrova confirmed there is no crisis and a strategy is in place for low water levels. Current energy consumption and export levels remain stable, with contingency plans ready if conditions worsen.
