Succes în Ungaria: Centrala nucleară de la Paks a evitat oprirea completă. Când se preconizează că va funcționa din nou la capacitate maximă
Hungary's Paks nuclear power plant has avoided a complete shutdown due to increased Danube water levels, thanks to engineering efforts. Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced that the water level rose by 15 centimeters, ensuring the operation of two turbines. The remaining six turbines are set to resume operation soon, with full capacity expected next week. The government implemented short-term solutions by sinking barges to maintain adequate water levels for cooling. In contrast, Romania's Cernavodă plant faced a complete halt in nuclear energy production due to low Danube flow, marking a rare occurrence in 23 years.
