Romanian startups and innovators can register for the EUDIS Defence Hackathon, a European competition focused on defense technologies, taking place from October 15-17, 2026. Participants from across the EU, including Ukraine and Norway, are invited to develop solutions for real defense challenges under the theme 'Autonomy on the Battlefield'. The event will feature eight local hackathons across Europe, addressing predefined challenges such as navigation in GNSS-denied environments and drone swarm coordination. Winning teams will gain access to a mentoring program to help turn prototypes into practical defense solutions.
